The exponential rise in the spread of the coronavirus in China has prompted Italy and other countries to take security measures to curb the rise in infections in our country. The order, signed yesterday by the Minister of Health, Orazio Squillaci, on mandatory anti-Covid swabs for passengers arriving from China, has already entered into force and will remain in effect until January 31, 2023. For passengers arriving from China”in case of a positive outcome antigen test” takes effect upon arrival, the text provides for “an obligation to immediately pass molecular testing for the purposes of subsequent sequencing and fiduciary isolation in accordance with applicable law”, as well as “the obligation to conduct an additional antigenic or molecular test with a negative result to complete the period of isolation”.
