Portuguese start-up Rows operating in the spreadsheet market (tables)now has integration with the language model developed by OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.
The company says it is “first” in the spreadsheet market to work on this integration, which will use the OpenAI GPT-3 model, capable of responding to written queries. “Thanks to OpenAI, we allow anyone to process data”explains Humberto Aires Pereira, CEO and founder of Rows, Observador.
“A new generation of artificial intelligence models are beginning to find real applications in the economy and influence our lives,” the official explains. “The new integration between Rows and OpenAI allows, for example, anyone to automate their daily work tasks in a simple way in a spreadsheet, without the need for programming or any technical background.” And he gives a few examples: it becomes possible to do a tonal analysis of publications in social networks, to translate what is in the cells, or to summarize the cells in which there is a lot of text.
OpenAI, responsible for the viral ChatGPT, is seeking capital and is aiming for a $30 billion valuation.
