Laughing snowboarder Eva Adamchikova on the couch with her husband Marko, actor Jiri Machacek at the dinner table, or presenter Esther Janechkova at the piano. Famous persolities have opened their homes to support the Cesta domí home hospice. Intimate black and white shots can be found in the DOMA 2023 charity calendar.
For the fifth year already, Stepan Hon has been visiting the homes of 12 famous persolities with his camera. With minimal cost and the persol involvement of many experienced people, a unique calendar full of beautiful portraits is created that is charitable in several ways. Black and white intimate portraits show media-famous faces as they are not. Without tinsel and retouching. The photographs are complemented by an interesting calendar and clear planning space, and together they form an exceptiol wall calendar. It can only be obtained as a dotion reward to the non-profit organizations Cesta domí and Arkadia.
Why do celebrities join the project and reveal their closely guarded privacy? “Because I am deeply touched by the idea of assistance, mobile hospice work and care for people in the last stage of life,” the most successful Czech snowboarder Eva Adamčiková clear.
Photographer Stepan Hon chose The Road Home as a dotion recipient three years ago. “One of the main goals of Journey Home is to remove the taboo against death and allow people to die at home surrounded by their loved ones. The purpose of their activities is, among other things, to show that death is a tural part of life that should be talked about and has no place behind closed doors.” says Steven.
Cesta Home provides professiol care for the dying and their loved ones, operates a home hospice, a counseling center for the termilly ill and their families, and promotes social change to improve care for people at the end of life. Last year, the project brought the organization over a million kroons.
