Obesity is a disease
Obese patient MUDr. Dita Pikhlerova from the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Prague argues that obesity is a lifelong disease that leads to other diseases. “In addition to well-known diagnoses such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer, it causes infertility in obese young women, erectile dysfunction and psychological problems in young men. That’s why we need to change the way we look at obesity. An obese person does not mean that he does not have the will to do something with his weight, he is sick. And medication can help him.”
