They maged to hold the first match of winter training. Slavia beat Hradec Kralove 1-0 at the training ground in Eden on Sunday when Mozes Usor scored the only goal of the match in the 79th minute. Newcomers Piotr Chronek and David Pech were the first to come out for the “sewn-on” players, who, however, came on as a substitute ahead of schedule due to an injury.
In the warm-up, each team had one big chance. Striker Van Buuren, who returned after a successful loan spell in Liberec after the autumn, did not score for Slavia, while goalkeeper Kolar caught Yurchenko’s escape.
Both teams switched places after the break and Prague prevailed. As a result, the outcome of the match was decided by the Nigerian Usor, whose kick was deflected by the Králové Hradec goalkeeper, and the ball filly entered the net in a high arc.
Slavia defeated Hradec after two matches, losing a goal each time in the last two matches of the league.
The Praguers deployed two of the four winter reinforcements. Attacking midfielder Chronek played in the second half, right-back Pécs replaced him in the first half, who was forced to substitute four minutes before half-time due to injury.
