Richard Watzke, majority owner of British parent company Xixoa, and chairman Henry Ertner were briefly detained by police in late November. Sezm Zprávy’s server subsequently reported, citing police documents, that detectives were referring to the Xixoi business as a Ponzi scheme. Watzke and his colleagues were supposed to receive hundreds of millions of crowns from people and companies, but according to the police, the company did not develop any activity that should have assessed the entrusted money, as Xixoio promised.
