On the afternoon of Wednesday, February 22, a motor plane crashed in western Slovakia. Four people did not survive the accident that occurred near the village of Trencianske Stankovce. The news touched not only their relatives, but also the aviation school itself. Her employees lost colleagues and good friends in the blink of an eye. Each of them is remembered only in a good way.
One of the victims of the Diamond DA 42 crash is veteran instructor and flight director Mayo. “Since Wednesday, the world has become poorer for a great friend, a great professiol and a good person,” his colleagues from the aviation school recalled after the tragedy on the Topky.sk server.
According to them, Mayo was a straightforward and straightforward person who didn’t mess around with anything. He exuded tural respect. “He was an inspiration to his students and to us colleagues” companions added. During his career, the man taught more than 400 students. He himself has flown thousands of hours. In addition to flying, he also liked to play.
On the fateful day, Rastislav was also sitting in a four-seater plane. He left two children, he was a proud father. He died doing what he loved. “He started paragliding, then got a pilot’s license. He felt at home in the air.” colleagues described it.
Another of the victims, Maros, liked to help others. He regularly went to dote blood. “He helped even those he didn’t know” described by his relatives. He wanted to fly since childhood. “He wanted to be an astrout. He was one of the first to receive flight training. He also dreamed of becoming a flight instructor one day.” they added. Unfortutely, his dreams were cut short by a terrible accident.
Among the victims of the accident was a police officer, only twenty-five-year-old Roman Z. In the past, he tried himself in various positions. For example, he made a living as a taxi driver or a hairdresser, and eventually became a member of the Trencin Motorized Emergency Squad.
“In a split second, we lost a colleague and a friend we loved. Roman, we will never forget you. The Trencin police wrote on the social network. “He liked to soar high in the clouds and see the world from a bird’s eye view. Roman was very young and he had big plans, but, unfortutely, fate interrupted them, and you will look down on us colleagues.” they added and expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased.
