Tragic news shook Slovakia a few days ago after squash champion Miroslav Zeller (†31) died under mysterious circumstances. The matter is aggravated by the fact that the young Slovak left a small son, Richard, and a wife who is carrying his second child. Therefore, family members decided to organize a fundraiser in which people can take part…

His death came like a bolt from the blue. Miroslav Zeller was not only a successful and passionate squash player, but also a family man. Just a year and a half ago, he and his partner Evka had a son, Rishko, and now Zeller’s wife is in her fourth month of pregnancy.

And despite the fact that life, unfortunately, will not return anything to the deceased Slovak woman, the neighbors are trying to help the young mother as much as possible. Also for this reason, a fundraiser was organized, for which the public can send financial donations, and at least slightly alleviate the plight of Eva and her son.

Miroslav died in an unsuccessful fall from the stairs. The tragedy occurred in the Bratislava restaurant Meanto, where Zeller spent the last minutes of his life together with his friend Tomas Tot, who described the situation to the Nový čas website.

It all happened at the time when the couple left the company: “It’s scary. We went up the stairs, and before the last step Mirek stumbled and started to fall. I was already at the top” He described. “I did everything I could, I tried to catch him. He pulled me down and I started to fall with him.” – said a friend of Miroslav, who himself ended up in the hospital.

Not only relatives and friends grieve about the Slovak representative, but also colleagues from the Ministry of Justice of Slovakia, where Miroslav worked. The athlete’s family is currently awaiting autopsy results that could help clarify the circumstances of the tragic fall.
