“You don’t know if you will live or die.” Hundreds of civilians left Kherson to escape Russian bombing

Joy filled the streets when Russian troops abandoned the city of Kherson in early November. On a day that the Ukrainian president called “historic”, the population took to the streets to meet the military and celebrate the liberation of the city. There were hugs, tears and a lot selfie. About a month later, civilians try to leave the city, while Russian bombing intensifies.
