Russia is conducting major offensive operations in three parts of eastern Ukraine and is concentrating its efforts on capturing the entire Donetsk region. This was announced today by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to him, we are talking about the territory near Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Liman, all of which are located in the eastern part of the Donetsk region. The British Ministry of Defense said in another morning briefing, citing intelligence that Russian troops and mercenaries from the Wagner group likely control most of the settlements of Soledar, for which both sides are fighting fierce battles.
